Photographing Your Property
- The
photos you send may ultimately appear on our website and they’ll
be the only way a photographer or production company will be able to
tell, in the first instance, whether the property is what they are looking
for. So they need to be of a good digital quality and clearly show all
its interesting features.
- You should also take the photographs in landscape format as this is how they are displayed on our website.
- Most
properties contain numerous ‘locations’ within them in the
form of different rooms, interior and exterior features, gardens, outbuildings
etc. The more photos sent, the more chance there is of your property
being selected.
- When
photographing your property, rooms should be tidy and looking their
best. Imagine you're trying to sell your property.
- Take
at least three photographs of each room ,or feature, from different angles.
If there are any special features such as ornate fireplaces or views
out of windows, be sure to include dedicated photos of them too.
- Staircases
should be shot from the top and bottom
- Be
sure to take several exterior shots of the house and gardens, outbuildings
and views from the house.
- Don’t
worry about sending too many photos. Our locations department will edit
them and choose the best ones for the site.
- If
you would rather have your property photographed digitally by a professional
film location manager, please call David at The Space Men on 020 7534
5780.
